Misc. 6: November

November in my eyes is one of the busiest months for everyone. This is the month that starts off the holidays. We start this month off by a presidential election, and then for there it seems like everything just starts to go by faster. November is when I think that most people would start going Christmas shopping, and trying to get everything ready for the holidays. This month to me makes all the rest of the months go by faster. This is also an important month in my family. It is National Diabetes Awareness Month, and my little brother has it. A goal of mine for this month is to constantly reflect on what I eat and drink throughout the day, and try to cut that out to see how it would be to live like him. Then we have Thanksgiving, and this is a good holiday for me because my older brothers who are in college come home, and I get to spend sometime with them. This is important to me because my oldest brother is graduating college, and will be moving away soon and we are so close that I want to spend as much time with him as I can. Next, I have my CYO games on Sundays. Even though I do not play high school basketball anymore, I still enjoy playing my church league because it is a lot of fun. Finally, we have Black Friday. I have never been shopping on Black Friday, so I do not understand why people enjoy it so much. I think it would be crazy with all the people, and trying to find what you want. Also, I do not know if I would think that would need everything I would get just because it was on sale. As you can see this is a super busy month.

  1. I love this time of year! I cannot wait to see the outcome of the election, just for the fact it has been so big in the media lately. It’s crazy to think there will finally be a decision on out next President soon. This means there won’t be many political ads, something we can all be thankful for! When you say this time of year goes fast I understand what you mean. It seems like it was just last year we were getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s crazy to think it will be here before we know it. I don’t know about you, but I just enjoy celebrating the holidays as long as I possibly can. Too bad the holidays always go so fast. Like you said I love being with family during this time of the year. Everybody is happy, because who isn’t happy during this time of the year. When you talked about Black Friday it made me laugh because my mom, sisters, and I go every year. I guess you can say it’s a tradition, but we are not the crazy Black Friday shoppers. We go just to enjoy ourselves, and laugh at the people getting in fight over cheap items that will be on clearance after Christmas. I guess we all have to remember don’t let the holidays stress you out, because before we know it they will over. I am so happy you wrote this blog, it makes me so excited for the holiday fun to set in!
