Last night I was suppose to be my 22 year old brother's driver. Well I dropped him off at his friends house at about 8:30. His friend's mom took him to the bowling alley. I went to the next town to hang out with my boyfriend and his friends. It was a nice time. It was my first time meeting them in a social environment. I was not really nervous. We just talked and watched tv. I arrived home at about 12 and my brother still had not texted me to come pick him up, and he wanted me to come get him at 1. So I texted him to see if he was ready and he was not. I laid there and read. Without knowing I fell asleep with my light on. My brother texted me 5 times, and I never woke up. At ten till 6 I woke up freaking out because I forgot him. I felt like a horrible sister. When I saw him that morning I apologized and he usually likes to tease me so I thought he would. But to my surprise he did not tease me, and he was so nice about it. It just goes to show you that when you think something might happen it may not. People do not always act like they way you think. It was nice to know that he will not always tease me. He usually calls me names like ugly and a slabapus. He always likes to egg on my little brother to tease me. So it was a nice change that he is not always teasing. It makes me happy to know he does not always want to be mean to me.
I am curious as to why you were your brothers driver for the night? Were you like the designated driver?? Also questions also pop into my head as to how he got home? This is kind of humorous to me as this is something I would think of doing to my sisters on purpose. As a brother of two sisters, it is our responsibility to pick on our sisters. I am also surprised that he did not tease you (that is like breaking a guy code), maybe he was just extremely upset that you did not get him. I can not say that I do not blame you as around that time at night reading a book would also make me fall asleep ( I hate reading), maybe next time you should try something more enthusiastic like watching television or staying out with friends; that always seems to work for me although I never have to go get someone at that time of night. I am sorry to hear about this I guess and I suppose I am glad that your brother was not upset that you had forgotten him.
