So at my high school I have to take a Psychology even though we take at college. I start that class Tuesday because my school changed to trimesters. Although I am taking it at college, I am still kind of nervous about the high school one. It is suppose to be one of the hardest classes offered at our school. Also, they learn different things at different times tthen our college professor. The teacher is really hard too. He is a nice guy, but when it comes to certain things he is not afraid to be mean. Then I have friends in that class now and they said that the test are hard because the teacher that taught it before was a hard teacher too. It probably does not help all his test came from a type writer and he never changed them so the students could read it. The only thing that I will like about this class is I get go see my best friend. She is also a smart girl also and it will be nice to actually have a class with her. Emily and I work well together so it will be nice to have someone I can depend on. I still do not think it will be fun to sit in the same class as I did before for an hour again, but I guess it is better than taking a class with only freshman. I mean I would have enjoyed cooking, but I like a hard class too. Hopefully it works out for me.
Well first off, Good luck in the class! It does not sound much fun if it is going to be really hard. I took Psychology in high school and I am going to take it next semester at Rhodes. Oddly enough I really liked Psychology, at my school it counts as a history and I did not need another history but I needed to take up room on my schedule so I took it anyway and it was easy and I knew I would have to take it in college so I figured I would go ahead and get the basics. I also took sociology because each was a semester long class. But Psychology was really interesting, we learned a lot about taboo and different things. It is really cool to learn how people work and think and why they act the way they do. I think you will really like the class. I just hope it is not too hard to where you do not enjoy it. My class was pretty easy because we had a really laid back teacher which made it more fun to learn because it was more about learning than tests. We did a lot of fun activities to learn the stuff. We learned the different way people learn or the basic ways anyway and we learned the different ways people are taught which is really interesting. And each week we would do a paper where we would get on Psychology Today and would find an article to read and summarize to read and talk to the class about, that was fun because you learned a lot about what is going on now. Good luck in your class though! I hope you like it because it is a really interesting class.
