In class 13

I thought those videos were different. I mean when I was little I was always told never to play with my food, and this proves you should. If it was not for this artist to break the rules and do something creative we would never have thought of this idea. This can help with my writings because even though we are told to focus on a certain topic of a paper like narrative does not mean we can not try to break the rules, and think of something creative. Sometimes we have to break the rules to make a masterpiece. So when it comes to my writings I feel I should think of more ways to make my papers creative. It also shows that you have to be a perfectionist, and focus on the little details too. If I focus on the little details I will make my over paper a well executed paper. The video was a true inspiration to my writing skills. It is one because it shows you sometimes have to break the rules, and focus on the details to write a great paper.

  1. Really good points you've made! I've never really realized until reading your post that they really did kinda "break the rules" when it comes to playing with food ha! I know, when I was a kid, messing with your food was definitely a big no no. I agree and I think these videos were really good and inspiring and it really made me think that a video about food could be so similar to writing. Who know?! Ha! You don't have to be a perfectionist on every single detail. I get that way and I think that was why for our Text-Pix Investigation paper I struggled so much because I am a BIG detailed person. I like to go into depth a lot and with that paper we just have to do a surface analysis. It was pretty difficult for me to cut back on my perfectionist ways and just focus on the paper as a whole. I look over my stuff so much that I tend to doubt my work when I'm finished with it :/ I think we all can get that way though especially since we are all in college now and want to do our best. This English is a lot harder than any kind that I took in High School and it really makes you think outside the box a lot which is good. It gets our brains working and being more creative the more we use it. I liked reading your post and I think you made some good points! Good luck on our last paper! (:
