In class writing 6

I react in a way that is more skeptical than others. For example when I see an ad on tv, I don't say I am going to vote for them right away. Instead I want to find out if what they are saying are the facts. I look up each candidates views and ideas, and I try to see if they match mine. Along with that, I look at the promises they make, and think if they will he able to keep them. I am inspired to vote, but I want to know the facts first. I feel that there is a lot of lying in politics and slander just to get a vote. To help I feel we should all look at the facts more than being biased based on opinions or lies. This way we are putting the person that is best fit to be our president. However, it is not always easy to find the facts that are not baised to the democrates or republicans, but you can find sources if you are willing to look. Also, I feel when we watch the ads we need to think if we trust this person. Image does matter in politics. For example, people want someone that looks trustworthy.  Although some ads may hold the truth, they still are slander towards the other candidate, and make me what to find out the truth. In government we had to look up a lot of the candidates' view point, and that helps a lot when it comes to trying to make a tough choice like this.

  1. I'm glad the ads stimulate curiosity. That's a good response!
