Other Class

I am only taking one other class at Rhodes because I am a post secondary student. I would take more, but I drive 30 minutes each day to get to Rhodes, and I have to take 3 class back at my high school to play sports. The other class I take is Psychology, and I really enjoy it. My teacher is good, and I like how she prints out the notes. So far we have taken two tests and wrote two papers, and each time I really like what we learned. I had no idea what to expect for this course because I have never taken a Psychology class before, but I find I really enjoy. This is a good thing because I have to take a lot more for the field I am going into. So far I thought that the test were not too bad, but I am retaining the knowledge better. I also like knowing before hand what will be on it, and no surprise. There has never been any surprise on the test yet. The papers were not to bad because I enjoyed the topic I wrote about. I never thought this class would interest me as much as it does. The studies that we talk about I have been able to connect with some people in my life, and it makes it interesting to notice that about someone. Like how there habits can be related back to a stage in their childhood. For example, a kid that is never hugged will not be a very emotional person to others. Where this makes sense I never took the time to think about how some people I know that are like this, it comes from their past. I just find this class so interesting and have come to really enjoy it.
